Step Inside FCJ College: A Warm Welcome To Our 2026 School Year

As we begin a new academic year, we warmly greet our returning students and families and extend a special welcome to those joining us for the first time as we invite you to Step Inside FCJ College.

The year certainly began with a ridiculously hot start, but our students took it all in their stride, making the most of our shady grounds and air-conditioned learning spaces. Icy poles were definitely the treat of the day! Despite the heat, it was wonderful to see smiles everywhere and new friendships already beginning to form as students from different primary schools and communities came together, many meeting one another for the very first time—from across Benalla, Mansfield, Euroa and surrounding areas.

Our Year 7 students made an incredibly positive start, touring the school, settling into lockers, receiving their laptops and beginning with confidence and enthusiasm. We couldn’t be prouder of the way they embraced their first day of secondary school.

This weekly Step Inside FCJ College article will keep you up to date with the many exciting events, activities, camps, excursions and curriculum experiences that make up life at our school. Each week, the article will also feature plenty of photos capturing these moments, showcasing highlights from our diverse classes and documenting the wonderful experiences our students are engaged in.

To our returning families, it’s wonderful to have you back, and to our new community members—we’re so glad you’re here. Our students are the heart of our school, and it’s a joy to have our grounds filled with their energy once again.
