In this post, it is a pleasure to formally launch the FCJ College 125th Anniversary Film to our entire community.

This year, we celebrate 125 years of learning, faith, and community — a remarkable milestone in the life of our College.

‍

We premiered this film during the recent Let’s Find Our Voice concert. A night to remember. The stars of the evening were the Year 7students and older members of the community choir and band. Each person began their journey by accepting an invitation to share more of themselves for others. For us. Over the past 8 weeks, each person has shown great courage in discovering more about themselves. And each other. Under the tutelage of Catherine Burton and Adam Toms, these singers and musicians found their voice.

The film pays tribute to our rich history — from the early days of the college inspired by the sisters of the Faithful Companions of Jesus, through decades of change and growth, to the vibrant and inclusive school we are today. It celebrates the sisters, students, staff and families who have shaped FCJ College across generations.

We hope this film reminds you of our story and the values that continue to guide us.
